How we handle your data.

Who we are

Axeleon B.V., trading as Axeleon & Partners, registered with the Kamer van Koophandel under number 42013821, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Contact: russell@axeleon.eu.

What we collect and why

If you contact us as a client, we keep your name, role, company and the details of the assignment in order to run the search or placement you asked for. If you apply for a role or register with us (interim or permanent), we keep your name, contact details, CV or LinkedIn profile, availability, rate expectations and our notes from interviews and references, so that we can introduce you to relevant assignments now and in future. The skills and preferences you give when you register are stored with your record (if you tick the WhatsApp box, we may also message you on WhatsApp about matching roles and assignments; reply STOP or email us to end that at any time), and a CV you upload is kept with your record in our recruitment CRM and in our Google Drive. If you request a report or use a check on our insights pages, we keep your name, work email, organisation, job title, phone number if you give it, which item you asked for and, for a check, your answers and the result, so that we can send it and follow up once about it; we add you to Market notes only if you tick that box. If you subscribe to Market notes, we keep only your email address, to send it; you can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us. We do not collect more than the work requires, and we do not buy data about you.

Legal basis

For clients: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before one. For candidates and freelancers: your consent when you register or apply, and our legitimate interest in maintaining a talent network for the life sciences sector. For reports and checks you request: steps taken at your request, and our legitimate interest in following up once about them. For Market notes: your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

How long we keep it

If you apply for a specific role and don't want to stay in our network, we delete your data no later than four weeks after that application ends. If you register with us or agree to stay on file, we keep your record for up to one year after our last contact. Before that year is up we ask whether you want to stay on file; if you don't reply, we delete the record. Client records are kept for the duration of the relationship and for seven years afterwards where Dutch tax law requires it.

Who sees it

Russell Kerby. When an assignment uses external research or sourcing support, those partners work under confidentiality and data-processing agreements and see only what the assignment needs. We introduce candidates to clients only with the candidate's agreement, per role. We use a small number of processors to run the business, each under a data-processing agreement: Google Workspace for email, calendar, file storage and the intro-call booking page; Netlify for hosting this website and receiving its forms, including CV uploads; Cloudflare for cookieless website analytics; and a recruitment CRM for client, candidate and freelancer records. Google, Netlify and Cloudflare are US companies; transfers outside the EU are covered by their data-processing terms. We do not sell or share personal data for marketing.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or restrict how we use it, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email russell@axeleon.eu and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Cookies

This website sets no tracking cookies, uses no advertising pixels and serves its fonts itself rather than from a third party. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: it sets no cookies and does not track you across sites. The CV reader on the registration page runs in your own browser; your CV is only sent when you submit the form.
