For candidates and freelancers

What to expect when you talk to us.

Whether you are open to a permanent move, available for interim work or quietly considering a leadership role, this is how Axeleon works with you, and what we will never do.

Confidential by default

Nothing moves without your say-so.

  • Your CV is never sent to an employer without your agreement for that specific role. You hear the company name and the full picture before anything is shared.
  • Your current employer is never contacted. References are taken only with your consent, and only once you are in the final stage of a process.
  • If you are exploring a leadership move while in post, the first conversation is with Russell alone and commits you to nothing.
  • You never pay Axeleon anything, whether you are a candidate or a freelancer.
After you get in touch

Read by Russell, answered honestly.

Every message and application is read by Russell himself, not screened by software. If a live role fits, or if he wants to understand your profile better, he calls you. That call covers what a CV cannot: what you want the next role to do for you, what you would not take on, your notice period, your salary or rate expectations, and where you are willing to work.

If you are put forward for a role, you are briefed before every interview and debriefed after it, with honest feedback from the client whether the answer is yes or no. If nothing fits right now, your details stay on file only for as long as the privacy notice allows, and you hear from us when something does fit, not before.

For interim professionals

The practical side of an assignment.

  • Contracting. The agreement is between your company and Axeleon, with the scope, the rate, the working pattern and the payment terms set out before you start.
  • Wet DBA. Every assignment is structured around the Wet DBA from the first conversation: a defined scope and deliverables, your own methods, and no disguised employment. If the scope changes during the assignment, we revisit it with you and the client.
  • Rate. Agreed with you before you are introduced to the client, never changed afterwards without your agreement.
  • Working pattern. From a few days a month to five days a week, on site or hybrid as the work allows. Fractional QP, RP and QA leadership arrangements are increasingly common.
  • Between assignments. Register even if you are mid-assignment. Tell us when your availability changes, and we will keep your record current.
