Many engineering leaders in GMP plants are not actively looking. The brief has to be precise. A utilities lead is not a facilities manager, and a maintenance director at a sterile site carries compliance as well as uptime. Getting the scope, the systems and the level of ownership right is what separates a focused search from a flood of the wrong CVs.
